Our History
The AIVA Project, founded in 2015 by a group of professionals, saw a need for more accessible health resources in our Lorton community. We launched AthleTech at Elevate as a way for our community members to remain focused on school while providing a safe haven for their athletic needs. In 2024 we launched BrakeFire Disaster Relief to combat the need for immediate relief for national disasters.

Our team is made up of licensed contractors, social workers, former professional and collegiate athletes, current federal agency tech specialists and many more diverse individuals that give us the knowledge, experience and ability to make a difference.

We partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in our community to provide the help we need. This help has come in the form of donations of various tech equipment, disaster relief equipment and financial donations that are all tax deductible.

Brakefire Disaster Relief Organization
Our mission is simple - When Disaster Strikes, We Deliver! We go to catastrophic disaster zones & deliver supplies to those in need. We send recon teams into the towns to gather intel of specific needs of the people in that area, & deliver at all costs. Brakefire Disaster Relief was founded in 2024 by a group of community members who served those in need affected by hurricane Helene who felt that serving the community in times of disaster was their purpose in life. The name "Brakefire" comes from us delivering so many goods in one day that our trucks brakes caught on fire, but we didn't let that stop us! Nothing can stop us from getting people what they need when they need it!
AthleTech at Elevate
AthleTech Institution of Virginia was founded in 2018 by a group of former basketball professionals who all have children and found a need for more accessible community based programming with a redirected focus on the classroom while providing a safe haven for kids who are sports enthusiasts. Our goal is to provide tech gear FREE to increase kid's technical abilities outside of sports. Along with free tech gear for the kids, we provide special classes in things such as coding, website building, drone usage, graphic design and more all for free.
